The Invitation

We’re inviting every Compass office across the USA to come together through everyday action. As we celebrate the USA's 250th anniversary, this is an opportunity to create positive impact in our communities and future generations.

Community

Get outside and make an impact.

Pick up one full bag of trash on your street
Join or organize a beach or park cleanup
Plant something—a tree or pollinator-friendly plants
Join or donate to a conservation effort
If you dive, participate in an ocean cleanup
Walk, bike, or use public transport

Individual

Shift your daily habits

Buy nothing for a day (NO AMAZON)
No Starbucks or takeaway coffee
Make your own lunch—do not order out
No drive-thrus
Be Plastic Free for a day
Avoid all single-use plastics
Walk, bike, or carpool whenever possible
Unplug chargers, kitchen appliances, TVs, and office equipment
Take Advocacy Action

Home

Start where you live

Switch lights to LED
Use less AC or heat—open windows when you can
Start a simple compost (even small is fine)
Replace cleaning products with refillable glass options
Skip laundry for the day
Talk with your kids, family, or even a friend about why Earth Day exists
Bring reusable bags—no plastic when shopping
Switch to plastic free pet products

Office

Do it together

Turn off lights and work with natural light
Do not print anything for the day (or reduce as much as possible)
Skip all single-use plastics (cups, utensils, bottles)
Use a refillable water bottle
Replace plastic coffee pods with reusable ones
Take the stairs instead of the elevator
Bring your lunch with nothing wrapped in plastic
