I’ve been deeply connected to nature my entire life, beginning as a surfer where I developed a lasting love for the ocean. That connection grew into a lifelong commitment to conservation after formative experiences in the Galápagos and the Amazon.
As a scuba diver involved in ocean-floor cleanups, I’ve witnessed firsthand how pollution and warming waters disrupt marine ecosystems. This work led me to serve as a skipper with Team Ocean, removing discarded fishing line from mangroves to protect bird and marine life while supporting marine research and conservation.
My conservation journey has taken me around the world, including volunteering at an elephant sanctuary in Sri Lanka and studying marine conservation in the Maldives. These experiences inspired me to found Compass4Earth as a way to turn awareness into action. Today, I continue to lead conservation efforts through shoreline cleanups, partnerships, and global volunteer initiatives, building a community rooted in responsibility, connection, and care for the natural world.
Conservation to me, is care in action
